Sales and Marketing Manager

We are a lovely small team running a boutique clothing brand specialising in silk and cashmere wedding outfits. We’re looking for a multi-talented Sales and Marketing manager to join the Shibumi family and help take us to the next level!

Applicants should be happy to work within a small, close knit team and be confident with the day to day running of the business, as well as managing another member of staff.

The role will be varied and comprise of two main areas. Sales which will involve daily customer service, seeing clients in our Showroom on site, booking and organising shows and photoshoots, stock control, keeping the website up to date, and preparing monthly analytic reports. The Marketing part of the role will involve Social Media management, writing and posting regular newsletters and blogs, online marketing strategy, SEO, and managing PR requests.

This is an exciting role full of potential for great career progression and the chance to develop within an ethical, slow fashion business.

This role is full time, and will be office-based.

Starting salary £28k - £30k depending on experience.

Role Requirements:

  • Great customer service skills, including sales experience.
  • Experience managing an e-commerce store, even better if this is Shopify!
  • Copywriting skills will be required for writing blogs, social media posts, newsletters and product descriptions.
  • Familiar with using Mac computers.
  • Photoshop experience desired.
  • Must be highly organised and able to work well alone and within a team.
  • Social Media experience – content creation, ads management, scheduling apps, etc.
  • A good understanding of SEO and ability to research correct SEO keywords and apply them effectively.
  • Be imaginative with marketing strategies and ideas to promote the brand.
  • Full UK driving license.

Office Assistant

We are a lovely small team running a boutique clothing brand specialising in silk and cashmere wedding outfits. We’re looking for a wonderful office assistant to join the Shibumi family.

Applicants should be happy to work within a small, close knit team and be confident helping with the day to day running of the business.

This Office Assistant role will involve customer service, ironing, packing and sending orders out to customers, booking in clients and taking orders over the phone, assisting at shows and photoshoots, paying invoices, filing, and processing orders as they arrive from our tailors.

This is a varied role full of potential for great career progression and the chance to develop within an ethical, slow fashion business.

This role is part-time (4 days a week- to be discussed), and is office-based.

Starting salary of £12/hour.

Role Requirements:

  • Great customer service skills, will be required to see clients as holiday cover (training will be given)
  • Attention to detail – there will be lots of ironing to do!
  • Highly organised – will be managing the full cycle of orders from filing, to sending these to our tailors, unpacking shipments, packing orders and posting.
  • A good understanding of using Mac computers.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Bookkeeping experience (particularly with Xero) desirable.
  • Full UK driving license.
