It’s certainly been the month of exciting new launches at Shibumi! I’m so thrilled to introduce a beautiful new Silk Suit, Silk Tops, Palazzo Pants, and a stunning new Silk Dress to the Shibumi collection and hopefully, to your wardrobe too.
So many of you, whether you've visited us in the showroom or spoken with us over the phone, have shared the styles and designs you'd love to see next. We’ve been listening carefully, and we're delighted to say, we've delivered!

The New Silk Suit
Our new Atelier Silk Trousers are expertly tailored with a relaxed fit, combining timeless elegance with everyday comfort. Designed with a flattering high waisted silhouette and a looser leg for effortless movement, these women's tailored trousers feature discreet stretch panels at each side of the waistband for added flexibility and an all day comfortable fit. Perfect for work, smart casual styling, or elevated everyday wear.
For the perfect match for these silk trousers I have designed the Phoenix Jacket which can be made in all of our embroidered & raw Silks.Â
Style it as a complete matching suit for a timeless, sophisticated look, or wear the silk jacket on its own for versatility. Unlike many of our other pieces which are designed to be worn open, the Phoenix Silk Jacket looks just as elegant buttoned up, creating a beautifully tailored silhouette.Â

This silk jacket pairs beautifully with our new Atelier Trousers if you are looking for a modern tilt on a classic look. Bringing our eastern influence into western fashion is what inspired me to bring Shibumi to life. This suit says it all.
The Phoenix Jacket is the modern little sister to our much loved Short Nehru Jacket. This beautifully tailored cropped jacket features a flattering silhouette with an elegant curved back hem and seven fabric covered buttons with functional loops on each sleeve for a truly luxurious finish. With its contemporary take on classic tailoring, the Phoenix Jacket is endlessly versatile.
 I am absolutely loving this style. I was inspired to design this from my mother's drawings back in the 50’s when she was at The Paris College of Fashion. As many of you know my mum sadly passed away last summer and so this is a nod to her. I know she would love this!Â
The versatility of this silk dress is what makes it such a timeless wardrobe favourite. Available in a wide range of our luxurious raw silk and embroidered silk fabrics, you can create a look that's uniquely yours.
The Lucie silk dress works really well with our silk jackets. I particularly like the dress worn with the
Juna Jacket and our
Anya jacket.Â

Our luxurious silk palazzo trousers were created after so many of you asked for the perfect wide-leg style and I'm so pleased to say they're finally here. To complete the look, I've also designed a matching silk top, creating an effortlessly elegant style that's perfect for weddings, special occasions, holidays, or everyday dressing. Wear them together as a sophisticated silk outfit or style each piece separately...
As you hopefully know all the styles can be made in any of our satin silk or sand wash silk colours that we offer, so you can really play around with the look that you are after. If you have a jacket or coat already from Shibumi then these can be a really great addition creating more outfit options.
