Next Season with Shibumi, in Jewel Tones
As we step into 2026, fashion’s colour story is evolving in exciting, unexpected ways, and Shibumi is right at the heart of it. From runway revelations in Paris, Milan and London to global colour authorities like Pantone, this season’s hues are all about personality, expression, and elevating your wardrobe with thoughtful elegance.
Bold colours aren’t going anywhere. Spring/Summer 2026 runways were filled with jewel rich tones that make a statement without shouting, think emerald green, vibrant red, flaming pink, lime greens and vivid blues. Seen on sculptural coats and dresses made for swishing, these indulgent shades remind us that colour is meant to be enjoyed.
Now how can you keep up with the trends with our Shibumi pieces?

The Classic Blazers

Now we know that sharp silhouettes are going to be showing up throughout the Spring and Summer season of 2026, and as we can make any of our designs in any of our fabrics, here are a few of our fabrics in our Classic Blazer ( mid and left ) and Nina Blazer ( on right ) design, from left to right you have got Scarlet, Ghost and Emerald Green silk fabrics.
You may be thinking that our Ghost shade doesn’t fit with all these rich jewel tones? Well, the reason for this choice is that Pantone just crowned Cloud Dancer, a dreamy, serene off white as the 2026 colour of the Year, and our Ghost Fabric fits right into that airy, fresh start vibe. So of course we had to include it in the collection.
Each shade brings its own narrative to life. Scarlet flirts with bold expressiveness, Ghost whispers of quiet sophistication & Emerald Green strikes that balance between statement and poise. Worn with a gorgeous dress for a sophisticated event or jeans for a casual every-day look, these Blazers are truly versatile and work with anything.

The Nehru Coat in Avalon

The Nehru Coat in Avalon brings a beautifully rich, embroidered green silk to your wardrobe. A colour that feels both classic and excitingly of the moment. Its elegant mandarin collar and straight silhouette make it versatile to go with either summer dresses or lightweight trousers to be appropriate for the lighter spring weather.
This season, fashion is all about pouring energy and freshness into your looks, with runway highlights pointing to zesty, citrus greens, from lime to chartreuse, as standout hues for Spring / Summer 2026. Designers are using these punchy greens to signal optimism and vitality, often pairing them with neutral tones for impact.
The Avalon green of this Nehru coat feels like a grounded cousin to those trend colours. It echoes that same sense of growth and renewal that comes with spring, while it’s deeper, more sophisticated tone offers versatility that sharper citrus shades sometimes struggle with.

Cobalt Designs

On the left, you’ll see our French Cobalt, and on the right, our Raw Cobalt. Raw Cobalt is the shade that forms the base of the vibrant, almost electric, French Cobalt, and together, they create a pairing that feels bold, modern, and utterly captivating. Worn side by side, these silk fabrics capture attention.
With Klein Blue set to be one of the defining colour moments of 2026, we couldn’t help but notice just how closely our Cobalt shades mirror this fabric. There’s something about the deep, luminous fabric which feels very 'now'.
And then there’s the French Cobalt’s red embroidered silk, a nod to the Tomato Red which is shown to dominate next season. It’s playful, unexpected, and perfectly on trend, proving that rules are made to be bent, or even better, mixed.
