Princess Anne wears Shibumi Cashmere Coat and Cashmere Scarf for Military Anniversary Event in Canada

On her recent visit to Canada we were excited to see that The Princess Royal had once again decided to wear Shibumi for the event to celebrate 175 years of Canada’s oldest military regiment, the 8th Canadian Hussars.

Princess Anne wore the sumptuous Shibumi Nehru jacket in the ornate Venetian Red cashmere fabric with matching shawl to complete the outfit. The colours of the Venetian Red fabric were a perfect compliment to the red and blue colours of the Hussars.
She accessorised the outfit with black court shoes, black gloves and a chic black cross body bag. Elegant chignon hairdo, red lipstick matching the venetian red colour and delicate jewellery complete the outfit perfectly. She looked demure and comfortable watching the 8th Canadian Hussars Exercise of the Freedom of the City of Moncton Parade, with her Shibumi coat keeping her warm.

It was great to see Royal style fans loving the outfit too with fans commenting on Instagram “Love the coat and very versatile too, I can see it with jeans or over an evening gown.” With other fans agreeing “Looks great. Love it with the scarf. Very versatile and we know she will rewear for years.”

Of course they are right about the versatility of this beautiful coat, as the Princess Royal shows, having worn this coat already to the races and other events. The Nehru can be dressed up with a dress and heels for an event like the races or a wedding or bring a pop of colour to an everyday outfit by wearing your Nehru over jeans and a t-shirt.

We always love to see Princess Anne wearing our items and thank her for her continued support.
