Shibumi's Wedding Outfits Spring Summer 2020
We begin with this incredibly smart outfit for a man. Perfect for Father of the Bride or Father of the Groom, the Groomsmen or the Groom himself. Featuring our impeccably tailored Blazer in Midnight Blue silk, which looks fabulous worn over our Men’s Waistcoat in Venetian Red cashmere, paired with a crisp white shirt and navy trousers. A wardrobe staple outfit which can be worn for any smart occasion and is a fun alternative to a traditional suit.
A slightly more casual outfit for men. Our stunning Men’s Nehru Jacket in Pink Jacquard, worn simply with black jeans, a black t-shirt and Chelsea boots. Smart enough to wear to a wedding as a guest, and snazzy enough to wear out on the town too! This jacket is so easy to dress up or down, it’s one of our favourites!
The first of our ten wedding outfits for women… we just had to start with the classic Lyra Coat in Vivid embroidered silk, wear with our Hepburn Dress in Hot Pink and matching pink accessories for the perfect Summer wedding outfit. A timeless and elegant Mother of the Bride outfit which you’ll want to wear again and again! Our Lyra Coat in Narnia embroidered silk with matching Vera Dress in Star just oozes sophistication. Keep it simple with matching gold accessories and this outfit will see you through any smart occasion; the opera, Ascot, a party…or just wear the coat with jeans out for dinner!
Another Lyra Coat here, but this really does show just how different the same style can look in different fabrics. Here shown in Deep Raspberry cashmere. This is a great coat for every season, for Spring and Summer wear with our Hepburn Dress in Star and pale gold accessories to make it feel lighter and brighter. Come Winter, you can wear this coat with navy or our Oyster Gold silk to give it a richer and warmer feeling. Even wear it with black jeans and boots… a really useful addition to any wardrobe and this colour suits pretty much everyone!
Something totally different now, the perfect outfit for a wedding guest… our Hepburn Dress in Paradise raw silk, worn beautifully with our shawl in Eau de Nil. Pairing a dress and a shawl together creates a simple yet stunning outfit, great for weddings in the height of Summer. Alternatively, this is a great option for the evening if you take your Shibumi coat or jacket off. We’ve kept everything tonal here, and paired the outfit with shoes and a clutch bag dyed to match the dress from The Rainbow Club (their shoes are really comfy too!).
Another great outfit for those who may not want to wear a coat or jacket. Our timeless Bardot Dress in Hot Cerise embroidered silk, with aubergine accessories to compliment the pattern on the dress. If you just want to make a simple statement in a dress, having it made in one of our embroidered silks is a lovely way to add a little more interest. This outfit is suitable for any season and any smart occasion, useful and beautiful!
A true blend of classic cuts and modern fabrics, our Nehru Coat in Pink Jacquard really is a showstopper. It matches beautifully with our Marilyn Dress in Aubergine and can be worn in any season. For the Summer pair this outfit with lighter shoes, and for Winter weddings choose a darker shade, easy!
This outfit can be worn all year round, and both pieces make stunning outfits alone too… Our Bardot Dress in Silver matches perfectly with the Lyra Coat in Electric Navy cashmere, and the look is completed with navy accessories. A perfect choice for the Mother of the Groom or to wear as a beautiful outfit for Ascot.
This dress coat is so versatile, it can be worn over a simple navy dress, black trousers or white jeans depending on where you wear it, and the Silver dress makes for a great party dress worn alone.
A truly beautiful outfit for any Spring or Summer event, but particularly for the Mother of the Bride is this soft and feminine ensemble. Our Nehru Coat in Rococo Pink cashmere, worn with the Hepburn Dress in Moonstone and complimentary shoes and hat.
A really classic and romantic outfit which will make you feel amazing.
We also have matching shawls in the Rococo Pink, a great choice to wear with the dress for the evening of a Summer wedding when you take the coat off for dancing.
Keep it simple with our round neck Vera Dress in Pearl Green and cropped Juna Jacket in Schiaparelli Pink. An easy, Summer wedding outfit great for the Mother or even Grandmother of the Bride. Pair the outfit with simple gold shoes and jewellery, and a pink clutch bag to tie the whole outfit together. No need for a hat with this one if you don’t want to wear one.
Last but by no means least we have this beautiful aqua outfit. Shown here is our Juna Jacket in Eau de Nil and Vera Dress in Mint Ice. The Eau de Nil fabric has a beautiful pale pink sheen to it so we’ve played on this by adding blush pink accessories and pink pearls for an interesting yet elegant outfit. Perfect for a Mother of the Bride outfit or for Mother of the Groom.
