      Women's Silk and Cashmere Jackets for Every Occasion

      A Shibumi jacket is designed to be worn in more than one way. For weddings and special occasions, pair one with a Silk Shift Dress or coordinating trousers to create a complete outfit. Afterwards, the same jacket can be worn with jeans or simple separates for dinners, lunches and less formal days.

      Choosing Your Shibumi Jacket

      Each style has its own character.

      The Anya, Juna and Short Nehru Jackets offer a shorter silhouette that works beautifully with dresses, skirts and trousers. The Bhumi and Long Nehru Jackets create a longer line, while the distinctive stand collar of the Nehru gives both the short and long versions their individual character.

      For a more traditionally tailored look, our Classic Blazer and Nina Blazer work particularly well with Silk Cigarette Trousers to create a coordinated silk suit.

      Raw Silk, Embroidered Silk and Cashmere

      Our women's jackets are available across Raw Silk, Embroidered Silk and Cashmere, with the choice of fabric changing the finished look considerably.

      Raw silk brings natural texture and structure, particularly striking in Shibumi's block colours. Embroidered silk adds pattern, colour and intricate detail, while cashmere offers a softer feel particularly suited to cooler days and autumn or winter occasions.

      With such a wide choice of colours and fabrics, you can choose a jacket that coordinates closely with the rest of your outfit or make it the piece around which everything else is built.

      How to Style a Women's Jacket

      For a classic occasion outfit, wear your jacket over one of our Silk Shift Dresses. If you prefer trousers, Silk Cigarette Trousers pair beautifully with the Bhumi, Long Nehru, Classic Blazer and other tailored jacket styles.
